What Is an Accessible Website?
An accessible website is a website that enables a person with a disability to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as other users, using the capabilities of the system on which it operates and accessibility assistive technologies.
Accessibility Adjustments Made to the Website
Accessibility adjustments to the website were made in accordance with Section C: Internet Services of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) 2013, the Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines. The website was made accessible to an optimal level, subject to changes and adjustments made in the Israeli Standard document.
The website supports the use of assistive technologies such as screen reader software, keyboard navigation using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move between links, the arrow keys, the Enter key for selection, the Esc key to exit menus and windows, and pressing H or a number to move between headings.
The website is checked regularly to ensure that website accessibility is maintained.
Optimal Accessibility on the Website
On this website, you can browse in an optimal and accessible manner using common browsers. The following browsers are recommended: Firefox / Opera / Safari / Lynx / Edge / Chrome and screen reader software such as NVDA / JAWS / VoiceOver.
